Kids sew for Charity
Let us teach our youth how important it is to give back to the community.
We will teach kids how to do a charity bear, and a quilt.
They may take their projects or donate them for a cause.
This camp will teach them how to do these two things quick and easy.
Our hope is that they continue to not only sew for themselves,but to always remember to sew for others in need.
Three day Kamp - Ages 9 and up
Kids Beginner sewing is a prerequisite or we can assess that the student can independently thread their machine and sew straight.
We will start with some basic sewing practice
Projects for this camp are as followed Charity bear, and a kids size quilt.
Fabric kit fee is required first day of class. This kit will include all fabric, notions, and threads needed to complete the two projects ($30)
Please bring
Scissor and thread snips(small scissors)
Pins (long quilting pins)
Marking pencil/pen
Sewing machine in good working order(or rent one)
Bring a snack, and bottle water
