One Block Wonder Quilt Class
This spectacular kaleidoscope quilt is easy to sew, though it looks complicated: the fabric does all the work! One large-scale print makes all the blocks, and you don't need a special ruler! (There's a fair amount of sewing, but it is NOT difficult!)
Our in store sample uses panels, but large print fabric by the yard works as well.
Fabric needed:
You need a length of your fabric that is at least 6 repeats, then add 1/4 yard for "wiggle room"
If it has a 12" repeat and you buy 6 repeats
12" x 6 = 72" = 2 yards Buy 2-1/4 yards
For larger quilt buy 4 yards to get 2 sets of 6 repeats (and add at least 1/4 yard)
Or simply bring 6 panels, exactly the same.
We have several panels at discount pricing that you could use for class(discount for class purpose only).
Tools and Supplies:
- Rotary cutter and mat
- Rotary ruler that is 24" long (can be 6" or 8" wide) and has a 60 degree angle line on it OR any 60 degree ruler.
- Flat-head pins
-Sewing machine in good working order, and usual supplies: needles, thread, etc.
