Garment Sewing 102 Class

In this 2-part class, students will make a versatile woven A-line skirt—a beginner-friendly pattern that comes with 3 views. View B, a wrap-style skirt with a button closure, will be taught. Join Catherine as she teaches you how to make a waistband, a buttonhole, a hip pocket and how to work with interfacing. Other techniques taught include French seams, edge-stitching, grading seams, under-stitching and balancing a hem.

**If you’re new to garment sewing, we request that you take Intro to Garment sewing before signing up for this class. 

Pattern required: Fiore Skirt by Closet Core Patterns (available for purchase at store). The pattern is available in 0-20. If you need size 20-32, please contact us.
